INTRODUCTION
Tribox - an interactive, modular desk organizer designed for stacking and storage of stationary, electronics, jewelry and more. Fidget and Play - Use the product to build interesting structures on your desk. Tribox is designed as prismatic modules which can slide into each other to create different shapes depending on your mood and requirement. Want to build more? Additional modules can be purchased and fitted to existing ones.
This project was done under DIMIOUR DESIGNS.
RESEARCH
Research was carried out on modular table products that can be 3D printed. The research led towards the modular hexagonal boxes that can be arranged into different orientations and produce a honey comb structure. Studies were carried out inorder to understand the functionality and usability of such products in real world. Different structures of modular designs were studied to get some inspiration and understand the modularity of those structures.
DESIGN BRIEF
To design a desk product that is modular and can be stacked to form different patterns and can be completely 3D printed.
CAD & RENDERS
The 3D CAD modelling of the concept was done using both Solidworks and Autodesk Fusion 360 and renders were carried out using Keyshot.
